  • Rear-face as long as possible the SlimFit supports it up to 40 lbs
  • Use the recline indicator to make sure infants are at the correct angle
  • Rotate cup holders inward to make more room in the backseat
  • Always use the top tether when forward-facing
  • Store the harness straps in the built-in compartment when switching to booster mode
  • For tight installs, push down firmly on the seat when tightening LATCH or seat belt

Yes. Stop using and discard the seat 10 years after the date of manufacture. Always check the label on the seat shell for this date.
